For the mimosa-loving crowd out there, I have some news. You’re missing out. Yes, the typical orange juice mixed with sparkling wine or champagne is delicious and lovely. But a simple swap will blow your taste buds. Up for the challenge? Read on!
There’s a local bar I love to frequent in the summer due to the wicker couches on their patio (the fantastic drinks and fried mac & cheese are also good points). It was there that I discovered this amazing concoction. However the true test subject was my sister. I feel that she could hold the title for Number One Mimosa Lover. On a recent visit, I begged her to try this variation on her favorite cocktail. It took a lot of convincing as she was pretty doubtful.
I’m very proud to say, that she is a convert. In fact, if I may quote her, she uttered the phrase, “My mind is literally blown right now.”
Mission accomplished.
